My orphaned beloved

Mafia leader Asher adopts Iris, the orphan daughter of his deceased comrade. In order to stifle her forbidden love, he pretended to be indifferent to Chloe. Chloe steals Iris's love song and, with Asher's callous instigation, falsely accuses her of plagiarism. One drunken night, Iris became pregnant; Asher's jealousy imprisoned her in a gilded cage. Chloe's cruelty caused Iris to lose her child. The truth shattered Asher's world, but Iris's heart had long since died. She fled, leaving him in the ruins of his empire to live with regret.
