Princess Aurelia returns to the palace, where she is mistaken and tortured by Lady Hawthorne before being rescued by The Emperor. At the Mid-Autumn banquet, the consort frames her, claiming she is not of the late Empress's bloodline. Aurelia recites a poem to save her life, sees through a paternity test by blood plot, and exposes the consort's crimes. In the end, she is named Princess Regent and inherits the throne.
