Jane Shaw is divorced by her ex-husband on the grounds of infertility. She unexpectedly gets pregnant, only to be harassed and slandered by her ex-husband demanding the return of the bride price. The child's father, Adrian Langdon, rescues Jane. Cecilia Sutton, pursuing Adrian, makes things difficult for Jane, attempting to humiliate her with nude photos. After Adrian uncovers the truth, he severely punishes Cecilia. Jane and Adrian confess their love, and get married. Jane gives birth to twins.
