Beasts, previously incinerated at the zoo, have resurrected and launched an attack, plunging the campus into a brutal trial. Sara leads her classmates in a desperate defense of the dormitory, while Grace pushes a companion off the building to save herself; the group eventually joins forces to slay the Monkey King. However, killing the Monkey King in violation of the rules triggers a penalty, unleashing a massive horde of beasts upon the campus, and Sara directs everyone to fortify their defenses. A "Red Moon" anomaly spawns new monsters, forcing the surviving students to the sports field; there, Professor White—the Prophet—reveals himself, using a trump card to ally with a robed figure against the Divine Envoy. They shatter the Trial Crystal, causing the trial space to collapse, and as Sara steps out of the campus, the surrounding world returns completely to normalcy.
