Revenge Urban life Power imbalance

Elliott Vance, an art school dropout sentenced to scrub graffiti from an abandoned subway station, discovers that the paint keeps coming back. An old homeless man reveals the truth: the wall is alive, a seal created by eight people in 1984 to contain something dark beneath the city. Elliott is the first person in forty years who can feel the wall's pulse. As a ruthless billionaire moves to break the seal, Elliott must master the power passed down to him, gather nine people to complete the missing formation, and confront the greed that has been eating away at the wall for decades.
