Workplace Tangled romance Power imbalance

Emily celebrates her new job at Steele Empire with a one-night stand, only to discover the man is her new boss, Dominic Steele. He dismisses their encounter as a "mistake," maintaining a cold professionalism that deeply wounds her. Emily soon learns she's pregnant with his child and that he's engaged to Sabrina Rodriguez. Her abusive ex, Nate, resurfaces, threatening her and leaking a sex scandal video of Dominic. Nate then vandalizes Emily's car and apartment, explicitly threatening her and the baby. Forced by circumstances, Emily reveals her pregnancy to Dominic.
