Caio Ferreira travels to 1983's scarcity, becoming a vagrant. Dependent on mute wife Sofia Lima, sister-in-law Bia, he faces crises: no food, Sofia Lima/Bia sold, bandits demand debts. Using martial arts, he hunts, earns money with herbs, cures Sofia Lima's muteness. He partners with Helena Bittencourt in medicinal herbs, helps villagers, solves problems, punishing evil. Caio Ferreira builds new house, lives happily with Sofia Lima, and leads to prosperity.
