Eliot Voss travels back in time to become the magistrate of Serene County. Empress Elara Wentworth investigates him under suspicion of rebellion, but is won over by Eliot Voss's modern technology. He repels Northern Barbarians with a Barrett Sniper Rifle. Prince Cedric Wentworth sends a Grandmaster to assassinate him, subdued by High Voltage Electricity. Eliot Voss helps the Empress expose Prince Cedric Wentworth's conspiracy to rebel, and the two become a couple.
