Helen Hale served her nephew's family. Her nephew's wife forces Helen to remarry. She meets Julian Kane, who claims to be a dock manager, and they agree to a contract marriage. Julian is actually the chairman of the Kane Shipping Group. A misunderstanding causes them to break up. Julian gives up his fortune and goes to her village, learning to farm and cook.
