At her wedding, Celeste is asked by her mother-in-law to give up her 850,000 dowry for her brother-in-law. Her fiancé persuades her to compromise. Celeste counters, and the wedding ends badly. Afterwards, Celeste's brother is in a suspicious car accident. She discovers this was a conspiracy by the groom's family to steal her dowry, so she collects evidence, determined to get justice for her brother.
