Mason Shaw's mother-in-law is critically ill, needing half a million. He wants to mortgage their home and car, but his wife, Aria Lewis, opposes. Aria mistakenly believes it's Mason's mother. Instigated by Mrs. Walker, she refuses to mortgage and watches Mason burn the deed. After the truth is revealed, Aria regrets and begs him to mortgage the car, but Mason burns the car title. Mason files for divorce. Aria gets 10% of the property, losing both her partner and wealth.
