Julian Beckett saves Melanie Warren. To expedite his citizenship, Julian agrees to an arranged marriage, only to discover his bride is Melanie. Melanie initially resists, and her family (except her grandfather) looks down on Julian. As they spend time together, Melanie falls in love with him, and they find their happy ending.
