The Fishing King Returns

Episode 12 / 1

This is a thrilling drama with unexpected twists centered around the protagonist Marlowe. The plot unfolds as he makes a comeback after retirement, hooks the Great Tripod with a straight hook, and confronts the Zhou family. After getting married, Marlowe had been living in seclusion as the son-in-law of the Qin family. One day, he fished out a nuclear bomb, saving millions of people along the coast. This caught the attention of Quentrell, who had been engaged in nuclear bomb salvage operations, signaling the return of the legendary angler. Later, Marlowe hooked the Great Tripod. To protect the Qin family from being swallowed up by the Zhou family, he stood up against Kendrick and entered into a wager. Kendrick falsely claimed credit for He Ming's retrieval of the Imperial Jade Seal. The two then engaged in a fishing contest witnessed by the entire fishing community in YC. In the end, Quentrell stepped forward to reveal Marlowe's true identity as the legendary angler. Subsequently, Marlowe pushed himself to the limit, mastering mental angling. After that, he once again vanished into the secluded world of fishing.
