Surgeon Justin Bradford has Asperger's. To save his son, Connor, Theodore Sterling offers half his fortune to hire Justin for a surgery. On his way, Justin saves Connor's mother, Iris Dalton, from drowning. Iris and her best friend falsely accuse him and assault him, injuring his right hand.
