Isabella Preston, the daughter of the richest man, hires a nanny, Gloria Jenkins, to manage her household after getting married. Unexpectedly, Gloria oversteps her boundaries, acts like a mother-in-law, and constantly finds fault with and makes things difficult for her. At first, Isabella tolerates it repeatedly because of the nanny's diligence. However, Gloria's daughter, Ivy, develops malicious intentions and secretly seduces Isabella's husband, Sean Shaw, in a vain attempt to take her place.
