Ethan Cole builds a factory to process and sell kelp. Villagers, incited by Mark Miller, believe he profits excessively and force him to abandon the project. Mark Miller takes over, but his ignorance leads to spoiled products, causing villagers heavy losses. Ethan Cole retakes control, leads the village to prosperity through kelp. When Typhoon Poseidon threatens, he leads the community to save the harvest.
