Trapped in The Infinite Game, Ren has long been bullied by his teammates. Poisoned and on the verge of death, he throws himself off a cliff, only to be saved by the tree demon, Ling, who declares him his exclusive bride. When his teammates severely injure Ling to seize the Life-Seed, Ren resolutely abandons them to return to Ling's side. They form a Symbiotic Pact, and Ren transforms into an ever-blooming Trumpet Flower, staying with the tree demon for eternity.
