Lynn replaces a suspicious item in Sean Sullivan's bag with Super Glue, finding him and Mia Marshall stuck. Lynn wants a divorce but discovers Sean was framed by Mia and her lover, Victor Zane, to take over his company. Daughter Rainie is diagnosed with a serious illness; they join forces. Lynn exposes Victor Zane's illegal activities; he's imprisoned, Mia Marshall flees. Sean Sullivan proposes to Lynn again; the family finds warmth.
