Venomous snakes infest Serpent Creek. Doctor Arthur Carter develops a cure, saving villagers. Arthur's wife falls ill, needing funds. He refuses to sell out to a pharmaceutical company. Greedy boss Warren Vance frames him for unlicensed practice. Villagers report him, Arthur is wrongfully accused. A policewoman helps reveal the truth. Villagers repent, Vance faces sanctions. Arthur continues good deeds.
