The Lost Dance

Just after retired woman Wang Chunhua receives her two million in demolition compensation funds, she is targeted by the suave, middle-aged con man Yan Youxin. He uses square dancing to get close to her, planning to use his charms to trick her into marriage and swindle her money. Wang Chunhua falls deeply into this late-life romance, getting drawn into traps involving investment schemes, expensive jewelry, a property as a betrothal gift, and a birthday banquet. However, her daughter, Lin Shanshan, sees through the scheme. After peeling back the layers of the 'pig-butchering' scam and navigating numerous misunderstandings, the mother and daughter, along with other square dancing members, ultimately work together to bring Yan Youxin to justice.
