They Used Me As a Maid, But I Was a Legendary Chef

Episódio 9

Romance Female Empowerment Middle-Aged Mature Nanny Kickass Heroine

Maeve Coleman was once a celebrated five-star banquet chef. For twenty years she gave up her career to babysit in her daughter Brooke's home — even draining her retirement savings to bail the family out — and received only exploitation and contempt. On her 56th birthday, cruelly humiliated, she leaves with one suitcase. Penniless, she meets food-truck owner Duke, who sees her skill; with savvy investor-lawyer Sage, she opens her own restaurant, Maeve's Bistro. Family drama follows, but Maeve faces Brooke on a major cooking stage and wins. Brooke finally sees her own selfishness and rebuilds. Maeve secures full creative control with a Voss Hotel partnership and starts a truly new life.
