Revenge of the Black Swan

Episódio 1 / 30

Lilia, the protagonist, was separated from her mother during a war in the South when she was a child. For fourteen years, she held onto one memory: her biological father had a red mole at the corner of his right eye. She wandered from tavern to tavern in the northern borderlands, working as a serving maid, all in the hope of finding him.One day, Earl Arthur, a southern nobleman, arrived at the tavern where she worked. She recognized the red mole by his eye and was about to reveal herself—but before she could speak, the earl's adopted daughter, Margaret, accused her of being a scheming commoner trying to latch onto nobility. Arthur believed the slander and allowed Margaret to slap her, step on her back, pour ale over her, and even order guards to force her to kowtow on the ground. Lilia showed the crescentshaped burn scar on her arm—the scar she had earned at age six while saving her father from a burning beam.
