Betrayed by the One I Loved

Episódio 1 / 50

Wish-Fulfillment Comeback Infidelity Love Triangle Thriller Belated Regret

Jiang Chen, the world’s elite bomb disposal expert, saved a hostage by cutting her clothes to reach a complex trigger. Instead of a medal, he was met with a report for "indecent conduct" filed by his own fiancée, Lin Yue. Suspended and replaced by a fraud with an overseas degree, Jiang Chen didn't argue. He burned his engagement ring, took an indefinite leave, and walked away from a world that didn't deserve him. But justice has a ticking clock. When a specialized, un-defusable bomb is strapped to Lin Yue herself, her new "expert" idol cowers and flees, leaving her to face certain death. Now, the woman who destroyed his career and the team that betrayed him are on their knees, begging the man they discarded to come back. But once a hero stops caring, the explosion is just a matter of time.
