The Son Who Disowned Me

George Ford intentionally breaks his leg for compensation money for his son Ethan Ford's marriage, then gives up treatment, becoming a cripple. Ethan, to curry favor with his father-in-law Dexter Gordon, looks down on George. He doesn't invite George to his wedding or grandson's banquet, and plans to change his surname to Gordon. George causes a scene at a banquet, is humiliated by in-laws. Ethan wants to sever their father-son relationship.
