The General's Substitute Bride

Flora, a maid, is harassed by Young Master Julian Jennings. She uses a substitute marriage to escape, but is married to General Cole, a crippled general. The Marquis's Mansion betrays her. Cole protects her. Together, they expose the conspiracy of Chancellor Cole and the Marquis of Everpeace colluding with the enemy, travel to the frontier to reclaim lost lands, and Flora gets her revenge. They find a happy ending.
