The Servant Empress

Yun Zhao, a maid, enters the palace. She resolves crises with wit, serving The Empress. She uncovers Consort Xian's conspiracy, protected by Shen Yuan. After the Emperor's passing, Consort Xian attempts a coup. Yun Zhao exposes her, helps the new emperor, and becomes Regent Empress Zhaowu. She pacifies rebellion, uncovers Shen Yuan's identity, and implements new policies: abolishing the low-born registry, establishing Imperial Examination for women, and opening free schools.
