Vesper Jennings is released. Her bestie, Chloe Sutton, schemes to exploit her. Chloe and her boyfriend trick Vesper into paying a bill. Vesper, with little money, uses a lottery ticket as collateral, offering to split the prize with Chloe. The ticket wins. When Vesper shares the news, Chloe denies receiving the ticket and distances herself. Shattered by Chloe's betrayal, Vesper's sanity snaps, and she prepares to teach Chloe and her boyfriend a lesson.
