A female passenger is the sole survivor of a plane crash in the snowy mountains. Struggling to survive, she rescues a gray wolf trapped in rocks, and the two bond — hunting together and fending off a bear. She builds a great signal fire and is found by rescuers. The wolf watches her leave, then turns back into the mountains; each returns to its own world.
