Grandpa's Last Guardian

Arthur Shaw rescues two dogs, Buddy and Lucky. The old man is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. His nephew, scheming for the house, makes things difficult for the dogs. Buddy lives out its life and is buried. Lucky guards its forgetful grandpa. After the old man passes away, Lucky guards the courtyard, visiting Buddy's grave. In its twilight years, Lucky falls into an eternal sleep. Its soul reunites with Grandpa and Buddy.
