The Lady from the Slums

Chloe, born in a slum, dropped out of school to work for five years to pay off her boyfriend Taylor's medical school loans. After Taylor graduated, Chloe wore a wedding dress to their date, expecting a proposal, only to be publicly humiliated and dumped. Taylor then married Victoria, a wealthy heiress. In despair, Chloe married a stranger, Arthur, an "oil worker." Unbeknownst to her, this oil-smeared man was actually the heir to the Renault conglomerate, which controlled the global energy supply. Thus began a story of betrayal and redemption, revenge and love.
