The Prince's Lion Bride

Nia Shaw, the daughter of a concubine, comes to a deserted courtyard late at night. She tries to touch the guardian stone lion, but it inexplicably turns its head to avoid her. The scene shifts to the bridal chamber of the Prince of the Gloom's Estate. Kaelan Vaughn lifts Nia Shaw's bridal veil. He hands her the nuptial wine, vowing to be with her for eternity. Nia Shaw agrees, drinking the cross-cupped wine.
