My Roommate's Killer Pet

Elara Lane and her roommate are devoured by a python. Reborn, she tries to stop her roommate, Melanie Sutton, from keeping a python. Melanie, wealthy, bribes the Dorm Manager and conspires with other roommates to falsely accuse Elara. Finn Grant, student council president, intervenes, but to no avail. Melanie pressures Elara through her father, forcing her to back down and giving her a demerit. Elara installs a wire mesh around her bed, letting Melanie and others suffer consequences.
