It's Not Too Late to Return

Nina Shaw's mother, Elaine Lin, suffers domestic violence from husband Gordon Shaw. Nina helps her mother escape. Gordon freezes savings, slanders, forges documents to seize property, and attacks them. Nina and lawyer Chloe Zhao gather evidence, expose Gordon, and get him imprisoned. After release, Gordon plays the victim, but Nina exposes him publicly. Elaine finds peace; Gordon is abandoned and paralyzed.
