Lost Glow

Falsely accused of plagiarism in public by her fiancé and his bought "witnesses," the heroine loses everything in one night — and flees through the rain to the small town of Deer Creek Valley, Tennessee. In a crumbling farmhouse, she meets a gruff, rough-edged local who fixes her leaking roof and eats her burnt dinner without a word of complaint. Just as she starts to catch her breath, her ruthless ex tracks her down with a lawyer in tow, slamming a contract in front of her: sign it and come back as his invisible ghost-writer, or he'll destroy her reputation in this town too.
