Byron Vance flees with 'Stinger' data, intercepted by Marcus Serrano's men. Byron passes data, then is killed. At his funeral, Marcus humiliates Iris Vance. Carter appears, drives Marcus away, vowing to be her bodyguard. Iris recognizes Carter, her father's protégé. Protecting Iris, Carter uncovers Byron's brother, Felix Vance, and wife conspired to seize Vance Group, murdering Byron. Carter retrieves 'Stinger' data, avenges Byron, and helps Iris secure her Vance Group role. They marry.
