Phoebe Shaw is reborn the day before her roommate, Stella Sutton, uses a Gu Jade to steal her body fat, a curse that led to the ruin of her family and her own death. To get her revenge, she does the opposite of her past life and begins to binge-eat, exposing Stella's hypocrisy in public and reversing the Gu Jade's power. This causes Stella to suffer the consequences, rapidly gaining weight to the point of organ failure. Later, Phoebe discovers Stella was just a pawn for the true mastermind, Dominic Ruan, who uses his cosmetic clinic and the Gu Jade to run a weight-loss scam targeting young women. Phoebe gathers evidence to take down the scam and establishes the Anti-Lookism Fund, but she soon receives a new threat from the mastermind, proving the battle between good and evil is far from over.
