Blackwood Crossing

An orphaned noblewoman, carrying incriminating evidence, traverses a forest infested with venomous black ravens—only to be rescued by a retired mercenary acting as her guide. As they flee, they discover that their pursuer is the very same individual who, ten years prior, slaughtered her entire family and destroyed his mercenary company. Bound together in a desperate struggle for survival, they must not only escape the lawless wilderness alive but also expose the true culprit before the public at the royal cathedral.
