Eight-year-old Anning Lawson is sold to Marsh Creek Village, renamed Josie Cole, and becomes the child bride of Chase Jennings. Chase Jennings, a man of ill intentions, tries to offer Josie Cole to The Village Chief's idiot son in exchange for the resort manager position. Little does he know, the owner of the resort, Mei Sutton, is Josie Cole's biological mother.
