My Chosen Mother

A mother uses TikTok likes to decide between Stella Sutton and her younger sister. For years, Stella gave expensive gifts in the Mother's Day contest, but lost every year. She discovers her mother secretly favors the younger sister. She gives up the contest and takes Mrs. Goodwin on a trip, helping her manage her TikTok account. Her mother and sister take over her house. She severs family ties and, with Mrs. Goodwin's support, starts a new life.
