The Ungrateful Village

Ethan Langdon returns to his hometown, investing savings to build a smart irrigation system for Sunward Village. Shawn Scott fabricates false accounts, inciting villagers. The crowd forces Ethan to refund money and leave. When drought strikes, Shawn Scott sells faulty equipment and absconds. Villagers repent and ask for help. Ethan, now with a factory, helps Sunward Village, but can never let go of the initial betrayal. A heart that has grown cold can never be warmed again.
