The General's Revenge Bride

Claire Vaughn imprisoned. Her fiancé, Julian Sutton, tries to force her to be his concubine; she refuses. Claire persuades general Kane Shaw, framed for treason, to escape to Northmoor. Claire plots revenge: she conspires with Julian Sutton to poison Kane Shaw, frame Julian, leading to Julian's execution and Crown Prince's fall. She returns to Capital, imprisoned, escapes, returns to Northmoor. Kane Shaw forgives her schemes. They confess feelings.
