Leo Yates gets into an accident, wakes up in the dog's body. Locked in a Dog Meat Shop, he escapes, saves herdsman Bartel, taken in at his pasture. Faced with bullying from Tibetan Mastiffs, wolf packs, and poaching gangs, Leo Yates uses human intelligence to resolve crises. He tames mastiffs, allies with wolves, works with herdsmen to protect The Grasslands' ecosystem, becoming its guardian.
