The Builder's Revenge

The Dawson family built a bridge for the village for a toll. Villagers refused to pay, assaulting Aiden's father, who fell gravely ill. Aiden Dawson angrily blew up the bridge and broke ties. He built a bridge in a neighboring village, gaining respect and happiness. His former village suffered without a bridge. Villagers begged him to rebuild, but were refused. The fates of the two villages were worlds apart.
