The Fox Matchmaker

Joy Foxes are qualified to become gods, but none have ascended in 3000 years. They become matchmakers, using marriage for faith and merit, hoping for ascension. Recently, the Fang family's son was prophesied to have "difficulty with heirs," and a Temple of Lady Joy Fox was built.
