Bound to the Poisoned Heir

Yara Quill is a 'cripple' who failed to awaken her bloodline. Her sister, Moira Blackwood, is about to expose her. Yara encounters Lucas Lawson, a poisoned heir. When Lucas is within five steps, her bloodline awakens, and her blood suppresses his poison. To investigate her mother's death, Yara signs a Symbiotic Contract with Lucas: she extends his life with her blood if he stays within five steps. This is all part of Moira's deadly revenge plot.
