Holly Sutton and bestie Riley face a zombie crisis. They fortify their apartment. A violent neighbor attacks them; they use zombies to defeat him. They discover UV light inhibits zombies. Winter brings severe cold and water shortage. They leave in an RV, encountering dangers. A radio broadcast announces a Survivor Shelter. They arrive, ending their year-long journey.
