Nora Sloan finds Anya, her daughter with Divine Power. Anya protects Nora from Julian Shaw and forced marriage. Nora is recognized by Leonard Langdon but caught in schemes of adoptive daughter Evelyn Langdon, a Heavenly Court traitor who stole Nora's Lifeline and tries to poison Leonard. Kael, Anya's father and Divine Lord, saves Nora, restores her Lifeline. Nora and Kael reunite, Evelyn punished. Kael gives up divine position for Nora and Anya; ends with marriage proposal.
