To avenge her sister drowned by Royal Consort Isabelle Monroe, Vera Sloane enters the Imperial Palace. She uses Yin Formula and Marbleflesh Powder to create a Beauty Balm, which causes the Royal Consort's skin to ulcerate. The Royal Consort's face peels off, and she is confined to the Cold Palace. Vera Sloane reveals her identity and informs the consort that the Emperor is also poisoned. The Royal Consort hangs herself. Vera Sloane escapes the Imperial Palace and walks toward a new, free life.
