Her Snake Demon Husband

Faye Hughes' husband, Ethan Sterling, is framed as a 'Snake Demon' by Walter Dawson. Ethan is suspected by villagers due to his snake-scale birthmark and going into mountains at night. Fake snakeskin, forged claw prints, and the Realgar Wine incident leave him unable to defend himself. Faye senses something is amiss. The couple investigates and discovers all events are a conspiracy by Walter Dawson to monopolize medicinal herbs.
