Harper was born with a damaged wolf spirit and had a fleeting lifespan from the start. Yet for years, she endured pressure from her biased parents and her partner Lake, always forced to yield to her twin sister Ivy, who constantly feigned illness. Ivy devised dark magic and manipulated Lake to coerce Harper into undergoing deadly rituals in her stead. Harper severed her bond with Lake first, then took the blame for Ivy’s crimes and was left disfigured. She eventually perished under brutal torture during the ritual. When the truth came to light, Ivy’s schemes were exposed and she was exiled, while their parents suffered a miserable fate. Overwhelmed by guilt upon learning all he had done wrong, Lake was assassinated by a witch. Harper’s spirit let go of all earthly grievances and journeyed to the Moon Goddess.
